I'm keeping this in mind for a DIY project. These Jason Wu designs from his Pre-Fall 2011 are so pretty, and look quite easy to do (skirt part). Anyone could do this really. Grab a fitted mini to knee length skirt (your preference) that you probably already have lying in your closet, grab some pretty crochet lace trim (check your local Joanns, Walmart, Thrift store, or online). I like this lace found on Etsy. Lay out and pin the lace onto the skirt, sew, and viola you have a skirt a la Jason Wu.
